Sound Healing Courses
Our vision is to help students gain the necessary skills to deliver professional, safe and practical Sound Healing and Sound Therapy sessions for the modern world.
We promote the use of Therapeutic Sound as a Complementary aid to Health & Well-Being. The potential applications are widespread and there is a growing need for professionally qualified Sound Therapy Practitioners.
Foundation Certificate in Sound Healing.
The foundation certificate in sound healing will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to host safe and professional Sound Healing Sessions.
You will study 6 of the core Sound Healing Instruments in depth: Gongs, Himalayan Singing Bowls, Crystal Singing Bowls, Drums, Voice and Percussion. Plus gain an overview of many other sound healing instruments. You will learn techniques based on research around using Therapeutic Sound as a Complementary Healthcare Practice.
Level 1 Foundation Course
Level 1 is accredited by the Complimentary Medical Association (CMA) and requires 100 hours of study and training.
60 hours will be face to face workshop sessions. You will spend the remaining 40 hours developing your personal practice, which is made up by a combination of guided self treatments, personal reflection and home study sessions.
Level 2 Foundation Course
Level 2 is accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and the Complimentary Medical Association (CMA).
On completion of the Level 1 training course, there is the option to continue your development with 30 hours of Case Studies.
Case studies are a wonderful way to gain valuable experience of working with clients and a good means of transitioning between study and professional practice.
Practitioner Certificate in Sound Therapy.
The practitioner certificate in sound therapy will help you to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to guide clients on their healing journey using more advanced therapeutic tools.
You will use your skills developed at the foundational level, plus study and incorporate different mechanisms for supporting clients to improve their well-being in all areas; physical, emotional, mental, spiritual.
Delivery of the Practioner Course
It is anticipated that the Practitioner Course will formally launch in Spring of 2022.
Currently, tuition and support is provided on a 1 to 1 mentorship programme.
Accreditation Status
The Practitioner Certificate in Sound Therapy has not been submitted for accreditation at this time.
